We are beings of energy. Our flesh and blood bodies are not really us at all. And even the body does not really exist if you look at Quantum mechanics.
I think most people have come to accept that over the last few years. Deepka Chopra has combined ancient Vedic teachings with the science of Quantum physics to tell us that we are spirit beings having a human experience and not the other way around.
But long before I ever heard of Quantum physics, Deepak or Wayne Dyer, or Vedic teachings, I KNEW I was pure thought, pure energy. I saw it on TV one night. Really. Gene Roddenberry was so far ahead of his time it is just amazing.
I now find it funny that Kirk had a “cell phone” and had to talk to his ship while the Klingon commander had a “cell phone” with text capabilities. I think Gene was truly living in the cosmic consciousness.
